The courtyards of Ca’ Granda are versatile and evocative spaces, providing the ideal setting for important events such as the Fuorisalone exhibition organised by “Interni” magazine during the Milan Design Week. Every year, the central courtyard welcomes future students visiting for the Open Day, and the companies participating in the Job Fair for students and graduates. The historical architecture of Ca’ Granda also inspires and hosts the works of contemporary artists participating in “La Statale Arte”.

CONCERT AND RECEPTION
Conservatorio di Musica “Giuseppe Verdi”

Established through a Royal Napoleonic Decree in 1807 by Eugène de Beauharnais, Viceroy of Italy, the Conservatorio “G. Verdi” di Milano boasts more than two hundred years of history. It was inaugurated on 3 September 1808 and since then its headquarters have been located in the historic former convent beside the Church of Santa Maria della Passione.
The Conservatorio has always been one of the most important institutions for the study of music, acclaimed nationally and internationally. Nowadays it is an active part of the University System of Higher Education in Art and Music, which is headed by the Ministry for Education, University and Research
The Conservatorio “G. Verdi” di Milano trains talented young artists who want to make music their profession. It is active all year round, inviting the students to perform as soloists or in chamber groups on the occasion of concerts, which often also involve teachers; the tangible outcome of this work is represented by more than 200 concerts a year.
The Conservatorio has its own Symphony Orchestra and the VJO-Verdi Jazz Orchestra entirely composed of students.
The buffet dinner will be set up in the magic atmosphere of the conservatory cloister
At the end of the award ceremony there will be a Concert.

GALA DINNER
Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia “Leonardo Da Vinci”
Via Olona 6, Milano
Born in 1953, the Museum is one of the largest science and technology museums in Europe. A spectacular journey among 170 historical models, works of art, ancient volumes and immersive installations to discover the life and the works of Da Vinci the engineer and humanist.
The welcome cocktail will be served at The Rail Transport section which is sited in a pavilion from the 1906 Expo with an added reconstruction of a late 19th-century railway station facade. The collection exhibits vehicles from the 19th and 20th centuries with a particular focus on the historical public transport of Lombardy.
The dinner will be set up in The Water transport section displays the bridge of the transatlantic liner Conte Biancamano, and the training ship Ebe launched in 1921. Also exhibited are a slow running torpedo (or Maiale) and an explosive punt (1940) both used by the Italian Royal Navy in the Second World War.
